The system can be used with an existing vehicle; no modifications are required, and it can be removed at any time simply by unplugging the adapter cables. This ensures your vehicle remains fully available for regular road use whenever you need it!

A comprehensive diagnostic platform

You can inject 9 various faults - including time-triggered ones—into any control unit, sensor, or actuator (up to 8 simultaneously), such as:

• Open circuits
• Poor contact
• Voltage drops
• Short circuits
• Moisture/dampness
• Sensor drift
• CAN bus faults
• Intermittent faults
• PWM signal issues

The software enables controlled, one-click fault injection, non-destructive live measurements, the ability to save and replay custom scenarios, traceable testing with an audit trail, and seamless sharing between instructors and different training locations.

The Complete Setup

• Fault Activation: Create and control repeatable fault scenarios using the DFS-TC248 and its associated software.
• Signal and Power Measurement: Access the control unit’s signal paths and power connections while the fault simulation system remains connected.
• Customized Cabling: Connect the control unit to the vehicle wiring harness using a vehicle-specific fault simulation cable.
